Deep within Dartmoor, the waters of Colly Brook weave their way between dark, moss-covered rocks. As the stream rushed through the landscape, a single copper-coloured autumn leaf caught my attention, resting against the stone beside the flowing water.
Using a long exposure transformed the movement of the stream into soft ribbons of water, contrasting beautifully with the texture of the rocks, moss and fallen leaf.
Autumn's Passage is about that constant movement through the landscape — water flowing onwards while the small signs of the changing season are briefly left behind.
Fine art photography by Roy Anderson.
