Above Burrator — Dartmoor

Looking out across the rugged granite landscape of Dartmoor, the evening light settles softly over Burrator Reservoir in the distance. Weathered rock dominates the foreground, leading the eye through the moor towards the reservoir and the fading light beyond.

The restrained colours and natural evening atmosphere capture a quieter side of Dartmoor — open, ancient and shaped by both weather and time. Photographed on Dartmoor, Devon, England by Roy Anderson.
